Newborn Jasaiah

I just love newborns! It is so much fun to shoot babies, especially when they are brand spankin' new. Jasaiah was so great and is beautiful.

He did that one all on his own! He was so chill and sleepy the whole photo-shoot! What a great guy.

Here are the rest of the photos of my friend Meghan's beautiful little girl. I know the purple flower is a bit big, but I love it! I really like the pictures that Meghan is holding her in. 

 It was a lot of fun, I feel like I still have a lot to learn and I'm excited to learn more... shoot, anymore friends having babies any time soon??? (that don't live hundreds of miles away that is.)

So tiny and so beautiful!

My friend here in DeKalb let me take pictures of her 6 day old baby today! She is so tiny, I love newborn pictures and I've always wanted to do them. It will be a learning process I'm sure, but I'm pretty excited. I'm not NEAR done editing them, but I've done one while Isaac took his afternoon nap today and I was just too excited, I had to post it! :)

Da Bears!

It has been pretty cloudy the last few days here. I decided it might be a good time to take some pictures of Isaac since there wouldn't been any really harsh shadows from the sun. And of course he got to sport his new Bears shirt! :) 

PS I'm still labeling pictures with Isaac as "babies" even though he's wearing a 3T sweatshirt! He may look like a toddler, but he's still my little 14 month baby until he's at least two years old... then maybe I'll consider calling him a toddler.

Apple Pickin' Time!

 Why is it that kids are so photogenic? It was a cool and mostly cloudy day which made for even better lighting conditions, no harsh shadows to worry about! Yay! I liked a lot of them but wasn't sure which to choose for this blog. I hope you like these. Check out the others at our other blog.

Isaac vs the water hose part 2

I just couldn't resist posting more of these pictures of Isaac when we were washing our car. He is so funny. He was very curious about the hose and had a lot of fun playing with it.

On Labor Day we didn't end up going swimming so we decided to wash the cars instead. Isaac loved playing with the hose. He was a big help! He was completely drenched by the end .

Birthday Boy

For Isaac's birthday I made a red velvet cake for the first time with chocolate frosting. I like this picture of him absolutely stuffing his face with birthday cake. And don't worry, it got in his hair too.
