 Why is it that kids are so photogenic? It was a cool and mostly cloudy day which made for even better lighting conditions, no harsh shadows to worry about! Yay! I liked a lot of them but wasn't sure which to choose for this blog. I hope you like these. Check out the others at our other blog.

Isaac vs the water hose part 2

I just couldn't resist posting more of these pictures of Isaac when we were washing our car. He is so funny. He was very curious about the hose and had a lot of fun playing with it.

On Labor Day we didn't end up going swimming so we decided to wash the cars instead. Isaac loved playing with the hose. He was a big help! He was completely drenched by the end .

GQ Man

Peter eagerly volunteered to take pictures with me over Labor Day weekend. He was so funny! He was doing all these GQ poses completely on his own. I actually had a really hard time getting him to do a serious pose! This is one of my favorites.

More from the Beautiful Black Hills

So taking a small break from Isaac, here are a few more pictures I took in the Black Hills that I really like. The first one was using the F/stop to control the amount of the picture that is in focus. I really like the idea of the chess pieces at different focal points. Grandma got Peter a chess board from Rapid City so he and Jason and Scott all got to play some good games finally.

I think this pictures is great purely because of Peter's expression, which unfortunately you can't see his face, but you'll notice his chin is dropped (so his mouth is wide open) and his fingers are clenched in agony "why!!!" I love it!
